Qualification
Essential Qualification(s)
Full Time Degree in Mechanical Engineeringdiscipline/ M. Tech. (Mechanical)/ Post Graduate Diploma in Hydro Power Plant Engineering from a recognized University / Institute of India with least 55%marks in case of SC/ST/ Internal (HPPCL) candidates and 60% Marks in case of other categories.
Note :- (i) For internal candidate AMIE in relevantEngineering discipline will be considered as recognized qualification. However, only those candidates who are enrolled for AMIE with the Instituteof Engineers (India) Kolkata with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.
(ii) Relaxation of 02% in qualification is admissible to all those candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship Training in HPPCL.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
