Online Recruitment Applications (ORA*) are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to 26 {UR = 10, S.C. of H.P. = 05, O.B.C of H.P. = 04, E.W.S of H.P. = 02, S.T. of H.P. = 02 S.C. Ex-Servicemen of H.P. = 01, PWD (Hearing Impaired i.e. Benchmark disability under Clause B "Deaf and Hard hearing: of Section 34 of R PwD Act, 2016) = 01 and Wards of Freedom Fighters = 01} for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Executive Trainee-Civil) at E-2 level (on contract basis) in the pay scale of Rs. 16,650-39,100 + 5800 G.P.(PB-4) on fixed contractual emolument i.e. Rs. 31,150/- as prescribed in the R & P Rules. in the Department of Public works, H.P. through ORA, which shall be available on the Commission’s website www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc.

Essential Qualification(s)
Full Time Degree in Civil Engineering discipline/ M. Tech. (Civil)/Post Graduate Diploma in Hydro Power Plant Engineering from a recognized University / Institute of India with least 55% marks in case of SC/ST/Internal (HPPCL) candidates and 60% Marks in case of other categories.
Note :- (i) For internal candidate AMIE in relevantEngineering discipline will beconsidered as recognized qualification. However, only those candidates who are enrolled for AMIE with the Institute of Engineers (India) Kolkata with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.
(ii) Relaxation of 02% in qualification is admissible to all those candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship Training in HPPCL.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ PH & other categories in upper age limit is as per HP Govt. Instructions. For Govt. employees of HP., there is no age relaxation. For internal candidates of HPPCL there is no age bar.
