Qualification

1. Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: 12th Pass with certificate of basic computer training from a recognized computer training institute
2. Postman: 12th Pass with certificate of basic computer training from a recognized computer training institute
3. Multi-Tasking Staff: 10th pass

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 25 Years

Mode of Selection

1. All the eligible candidates shall have to appear for mandatory computer Typing Test of qualifying nature. Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have speed of 30 words per minute. This condition not apply to the candidates apply only for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff.

2. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process.

3. There will be no field trial of sports for the selection.

4. Candidates on selection as Postal Assistant or Sorting Assistants, must acquire proficiency in Hindi language for confirmation of the candidates to the allotted posts.

Selection Criteria

Meritorious sports candidates will be selected for an appointment based on the instruction contained in the department of personnel & Training.

1st Preference:- candidate who has represented the country in an international competition

2nd Preference:- candidate who has represented a state/union territory in the senior or junior level national championship

3rd Preference:- Candidates who have represented a university in an inter-university competition

4th Preference:- candidate who have represented the state school in the national sports

5th Preference:- candidates who have been awarded a national award in physical efficiency

6th Preference: Candidates who have represented a state/union territory/university/state school teams at level (II) to (IV)

Application fees

UR/OBC/EWS: Rs.400/-

SC/ST/Woman: Rs.100/-
