Sports eligibilities
Meritorious sports candidates will be selected for an appointment based on the instruction contained in the department of personnel & Training.
- candidate who have represented the country in an international competition
- candidate who has represented a state/union territory in the senior or junior level national championship
- Candidates who have represented a university in an inter-university competition
- candidate who have represented the state school in the national sports
- candidates who have been awarded national award in physical efficiency
- Candidates who have represented a state/union territory/university/state school teams at level (II) to (IV)
Mode of Selection :-
- All the eligible candidates will be called for mandatory DEST (Data Entry & Skill Test)
- The Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the required education & sports qualification and subjects to fulfillment of other prescribed condition & instructions as contained in Department of Personnel and Training Govt of India.
- Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process.
- There will be no field trial of sports for the selection.
- Candidates on final selection as Postal Assistants or sorting Assistants must acquire the proficiency in Hindi language for confirmation of the candidates to the allotted posts.
